About Totten Therapeutic Services
At Totten Therapeutic Services, we believe some of the most important work you’ll ever do is the work of getting to know yourself.
Life brings experiences that shape who we are and how we see ourselves. Relationships, family experiences, anxiety, self-doubt, changing friendships, life transitions, and everyday pressures can all influence the way we think, feel, and move through the world. Sometimes therapy is about working through something difficult. Other times, it’s about understanding yourself, building confidence, recognizing patterns, or simply having a space to figure out who you are and what you want.
We have a special passion for supporting women and adolescent girls through the many seasons of becoming. For women, that may include rebuilding confidence, navigating relationships and transitions, setting boundaries, reconnecting with themselves, or learning to trust their own voice. For adolescent girls, it may mean developing their identity, navigating emotions and relationships, building self-esteem, strengthening their voice, and becoming more confident in who they are.
Therapy here is not one-size-fits-all. Our approach is warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and individualized, drawing from evidence-based and holistic approaches based on your unique needs and goals. We want therapy to feel like a space where you can be honest, feel understood, explore without judgment, learn about yourself, and develop tools you can actually use in everyday life.
Wherever you are in your journey, therapy can offer space to understand where you’ve been, discover what matters to you, recognize your strengths, and feel more confident navigating where you’re going.
Your experiences matter. Your growth matters. You matter.
Meet the Team

Tiara Totten- LCMHC, LCAS, CCS
Hi, I’m Tiara, therapist and owner of TTS. With over a decade of experience, I have a special passion for supporting women and adolescent girls as they navigate life, relationships, emotions, and the process of discovering who they are. Whether that means rebuilding or developing confidence, understanding patterns, navigating change, strengthening your voice, or simply getting to know yourself better, I believe therapy can be a meaningful part of that journey.
My style is warm, relatable, and real. I want therapy to be a space where you can show up as yourself, feel understood, explore what matters to you, and build greater confidence and trust in who you are and who you’re becoming.
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, and a Certified Clinical Supervisor. I hold a Masters in Substance Abuse and Clinical Counseling from East Carolina University. I’m currently pursuing my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). My approach to therapy is eclectic and individualized, integrating a variety of evidence-based and holistic approaches to meet each client’s unique needs. These may include CBT, DBT, solution-focused therapy, mindfulness, somatic practices, and other therapeutic techniques that support your individual goals and growth.
